Tree-ear doesn’t tell Min, because he doesn’t know how Kang does this new technique, and he also feels it is not fair to Kang if he tells Min the secret. During this time, Tree-ear secretly sees a potter named Kang creating a new technique for making inlaid designs of white clay in his pieces.
